As Maine’s population ages, the scope of Avesta Housing’s commitment to affordable housing has grown to include those for whom a private residence may no longer be an option.

Supporting older adults is an important piece of Avesta’s mission. We have two assisted living communities in Maine: Inn at Village Square in Gorham and 75 State Street in Portland.

Both communities provide in-house dining, laundry, and housekeeping services; on-site and off-site resident activities; and 24/7 care to residents delivered by trained, professional staff.
