PORTLAND (WGME) — Avesta Housing showed off 60 new affordable units in Portland’s St. John’s Valley neighborhood this week.
The downtown development is Porter Station and is currently full.
This is the latest affordable housing project from Avesta, and the 60-units cost $22 million to build.
It’s the former site of the historic Union Station on Valley St., which was demolished in 1961 and became a strip mall.
